Fukusu Sushi is located at Kota Damansara, if you don’t know where it is, it’s just right next to the famous Spicy Chilly Pan Mee, very easy to spot!
The restaurant is not very big but it’s really spacious and you can really enjoy your meal here. There are overall about 10-15 tables and also a bar seating area.
First impression, the interior is very well organized and the environment is really clean!
Looking at the menu, there are really a variety of Japanese foods choices and the price is really affordable as compared to all other Japanese Restaurant.
What we had in Fukusu Sushi:
Cucumber and kani stick roll with sushi rice, top quoting with half cook striploin beef and spring onion with special fukusu and teriyaki sauce.
Cucumber and freshly fried salmon skin roll with sushi rice , top quoting with slices of salmon.
Fried octopus with sushi rice and top quoting with Mango slice, yes, MANGO slide! Sounds weird but it taste really good!
The Japanese hot pot:
Cabbage, enoki mushroom, shitake mushroom, white tofu, Inari, udon, shiimeiji mushroom, salmon fish head.
Left: Kaisen Chankonabe – RM38.90 (spicy miso soup)
Cabbage, enoki mushroom, shitake mushroom, white tofu, Inari, udon, shiimeiji mushroom, Ikageso (squid head), ebi nobashi (prawn), scallop.
1 hot pot is enough to cater for 2-3 pax.
Fried squid head serve with fukusu tempura sauce.
The fried squid head is a MUST-TRY!
Overall rating 4/5. As the foods are fresh and the price is good as well!
