Go get it The Magical Flying Noodles at Underground Societe in Bandar Sunway!

Underground Société

Underground Societe is a cafe-ish, bar-like restaurant located at Bandar Sunway, near to Sunway University. Withstand the norm, it’s not just a restaurant, but one with an alternative lifestyle and artistic expression – in an Underground way.

Watch out for the Hidden Door!

Starting from the outlook of the restaurant, I was lost when I first entered the restaurant with the word written ‘The Lemonade Shop’ and a table of lemonade products display with no sign of door, but looking at the picture on the left, the restaurant is just right hidden behind this hidden door!

A ‘Speak Softly Shop’

They were “so called because of the practice of speaking quietly about such a place in public, or when inside it, so as not to alert the police or neighbors.”

Hidden behind The Lemonade Shop wall is a casual dining hall consists of 12-15 tables that can accommodate around 50 people.

Let the M-A-G-I-C begins!

Served in a double-decker dimsum basket with a bowl of dipping sauce (Tsuyu Sauce, Chic Kut Teh & US Signature Sauce) and the generous portion of springy cold noodles paired with pickled cucumber & Edamame and hold up with chopsticks!

1, 2, 3! Hands off and let ’em flying noodles carry itself!

Flying Zaru Soba (RM 19)

My personal recommendation would be the Underground Sauce, but the sauce is spicy so if you can’t take spiciness, you should try the soba or chic kut teh!

You want something else? Other than Flying Noodles?

Smoked Salmon Salad with Sesame Dressing (RM20)

To start with a good appetizer, they serve really well made salad, it comes with a really big portion, it can be share within 2 to 3 persons!

UFC *Underground Fried Chicken (RM 26)

The fried chicken is really good, and it’s good to go with the flying noodles as well!

Salad or Fried Chicken is not what you looking for?

Go for the Crispy Chicken with Kimchi Bao (RM11)!

They have Rendang Bao and if chicken is not your thang, you can try their Crispy Fish with Kimchi Bao. The bao may not smell nice when they are serve because of kimchi, but once you have the first bite, you will be falling in love with it.

The bombing desserts!

On the left is the Underground Grenade (RM 26) and on the right is Underground Fireball (RM18)! Both of the desserts below contain alcohol, but if you want a non-alcohol version is available upon request. You may not believe it but inside the ‘grenade’, it’s ice-cream! And for chocolate lover, you should never missed the Fireball.

Love Hurts, Another Drink Won’t!

Yuzu Lime Sorbet (RM 25)

A very freshening sorbet comes with 4 shots, this is refreshing and it’s also works perfect for clearing your taste bud before having sweet dessert.
