The World’s Largest Churros Cafe Chain – Street Churros
The 5TH Street Churros Cafe in Klang Valley has landed at Mytown Shopping Center, right next to IKEA Cheras!
I remember churros is really one of the popular street food in Korea, and it’s in every traveler’s must eat list. The crunchy fried dough pastry is good to consume as a snack or dessert or whenever you need a bite! In some European and Latin American countries, churros is savoured for breakfast, best to enjoy with dipping it into thick hot chocolate sauce and served with cafe con leche (coffee with milk).
What is Churros?
Churros originate from Spain, if you search on dictionary, it explains as ‘Spanish snack consisting of a sweet strip of fried dough’. Have you ever wonder why churros has a unique U shape? It has an interesting story to tell, the U shape represent Horseshoes and horseshoes means Good Luck in Spain, well there you go, another reason to GET LUCKY with churros!
‘You don’t know Churros yet…’ – an interesting slogan.
“Most churros is made of frozen dough,” explained Dato Joe Tan, the owner of Street Churros Malaysia. What’s your first thought when you see churros? It must be really hard to chew, that was my first thought and when I first tasted a churros in Japan, it didn’t disappoint my thought at all, it was really hard to chew.
But wait…what if a churros is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside?
It’s exactly the kind of churros you will be getting from Street Churros Malaysia. The churros served here is fried with freshly made dough everyday and most ingredients are imported from Korea. Street Churros Malaysia has an extended menu cater to local savoury, everything on the menu is hand-crafted and made to order, ensuring blissful texture and freshness in every bite for their customers.
