Where to stay in Melbourne City?

The Feel of Home in the Heart of Melbourne – Citadines Apart’ Hotel

One day in Melbourne City

A studio room at Citadines is good enough for a couple or a family of 2 adults with a kid. The room has a very modern design and it has all the ‘equipment’ you needed to feel like you’re at home. The studio room has a very well designed bedroom and living room which can be parted with a sliding door. The kitchen is very well equipped with all of the appliances and utensils for a cook! There’s even a dish washer in the room which pretty convenient! Of course there is FREE WIFI in all of the rooms.

Really really Good Location.

The hotel is located at Bourke Street, within 5 minutes walk you’ll be at Chinatown just at the corner of the street and the tram station is just minutes walk away as well!

Embla Restaurant

To get to Embla Restaurant from Citadines is really easy, from the hotel, turn left, and make another left turn, about a 30m walk you will spot Embla Restaurant on your left. The restaurant opens at 1300, so when we get there around 12.45pm, there were a couple of people waiting outside the restaurant as well, do I need to say more? It must be a good restaurant!

‘It’s a small but friendly place.’

They served really good fusion and as so they said in their website ‘Our tastes in wine may be slightly weird, but we think there are others out there like us.’ So I’m probably one of these weird people out there, I love the wine we had in the restaurant and I love the foods that served on our table! It’s a very chill and relax lunch time on a Sunday after 7 hours flight!

Hosier Street Art

Melbourne has always been known as a city with great street arts. It’s internationally renowned and all of the street art offers a feast of colour, creative ideas and young energy. One of the street art lane that I’ve visited is Hosier Lane, it’s such a stunning street art and murals full of young energy when you enter the street, there was a bunch of young teens queuing up for a concert, kinda reminds me of my day queuing up for BIGBANG concert 😛 There was also a young man doing a live street art show decorating one of the walls! Anyone is Melbourne should go and look at all the street art and find a piece of inspiration there!

How to get to Hosier Lane?

Hosier Lane is easy to find and easy to get to. It’s a 2 minute walk from Flinders Street Station and Federation Square, and runs between Flinders St and Collins St. All you need to do is just take the FREE Tram to Flinder Street Station! Hop on it, and alight at Flinder Street Station, that’s it.

Dinner at the amazing Tramcar!
